Essel customizes interoperability FHIR capabilities and applications to aggregate data from multiple systems to create a repository of data for patient care, value-based care, quality improvement, research, and more. We customize mobile apps by implementing ambulatory, cross-platform, mobile healthcare software. We program REST architecture, user-friendly interfaces with features for easy access to tracking patient symptoms, histories, and vitals, radiology images, as well as treatment plans, physician notes, nursing instructions, and billing information. FHIR Software Development We develop and integrate using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) frameworks for exchanging, sharing, integrating, and retrieving electronic health information to support administrative and clinical interoperability features deployed on cloud, SaaS, and Web. FHIR Integration Solutions Our primary focus is medical data interoperability based on the HL7 FHIR standard. We integrate HL7 standards for messaging (versions 2 and 3), user interfaces (CCOW), clinical documents (CDA), patient care data (CCD), medical records (EHR/EMR), and pharmaceutical information (SPL). We use JSON, XML, HTTP web services to program FHIR for real-time data sharing, as well as standardized expressions for Clinical Decision Support (CDS) and Medical Logic Modules (MLM).

Iguana Platform Integration We develop and leverage Iguana platforms that allows our clients to transmit, route and transform in numerous data formats including: HL7 v2, HL7 v3, CDD, CDA, XML, EDI, DICOM, X12, NCPDP. We also implement iNTERFACEWARE with EHR/EMR and we utilize BizTalk and Oracle SOA for secure user communication and message mapping.

Third-Party FHIR HL7 Integrations We provide HL7 implementation services with a comprehensive assessment of legacy healthcare networks to determine the most ideal custom or proprietary interfacing solutions. We integrate interface engines from iNTERFACEWARE (Iguana), Mirth (Connect), Cerner (OPENLink), Infor (Cloverleaf), Orion Health (Rhapsody) and Qvera (QIE).
